Social Media & Messaging
A public post, an advertising campaign, a direct message and a conversation with an AI assistant are governed by completely different rules. Understanding platform AI requires separating background system behaviour from active user interaction.

- What the AI does: Background AI on social networks ranks feeds and targets advertising, while business assistants and messaging bots engage directly with customers, recommend products, qualify leads and handle routine inquiries.
- What my research examines: I review default platform training terms, regional objection routes and the critical boundaries between ordinary private communication and information deliberately submitted to AI tools.
- Data pathways & training: I analyse how public business posts, customer inquiries, and connected platform accounts create hidden data pathways that may feed model training or improvement programs without explicit management consent.
- Supervisory responsibilities: I investigate user controls and supervisory obligations, evaluating whether account-level opt-outs truly cover entire business pages or if separate administrative actions are required.
